Royal Enfield Himalayan has recently gotten a colour makeover in the form of three new paint schemes. This adventure tourer is now available in six colorways in the Indian market, thanks to the addition of these new paint options. Dune Brown, Glacier Blue, and Sleet Black have been added to the existing colour palette of Gravel Grey, Pine Green, and Granite Black. Meanwhile, the Lake Blue, Rock Red, and Mirage Silver paint themes have been removed from the list. In addition, the new Himalayan will have a debossed logo on the grill and side panels, as well as a USB charging port.

The changes are limited to colour palette tweaks and the addition of a USB port. Meanwhile, the Himalayan’s styling remains unchanged, with features such as a round headlight, tinted windscreen, beak-style front fender, split-seat, side-slung exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels. These wheels are fitte with tube-style tyres.

Mechanical specifications are also unchang, with the Royal Enfield Himalayan continuing to use the BS6-compliant, 411cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. This motor, when coupled with a five-speed gearbox, produces a maximum output of 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm.

The motorbike is now available for booking across India for Rs 2,15,900 (ex-showroom, Chennai).
