The Pulsar NS400Z will be marketed in India for Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, it will be the most feature-packed naked streetfighter in the country. The motorcycle will include a ride-by-wire throttle, a switchable traction control system, and four ride modes: sport, rain, road, and off-road. It will also have complete LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster with a dedicated display for turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Pulsar NS400Z‘s design will be an advancement of the Pulsar NS200. While the general appearance is mostly comparable to the NS200, the bodywork will be sportier, with a more aggressive front fascia. The new projector-LED headlight and thunder-shaped DRLs lend a lot of character to the look. Bajaj will sell the NS400Z in four colours: Metallic Pearl White, Glossy Racing Red, Pewter Grey, and Ebony Black.

A Dominar 400-sourced 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine sits beneath the bodywork, nestled within a perimeter frame. The motor will generate 39.5 horsepower at 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Meanwhile, the engine will be mated with a six-speed gearbox and an assist/slipper clutch. Suspension duties will be handled by golden-finished upside-down forks up front and a mono-shock in the rear.
