Yamaha’s extremely popular XSR range’s smallest offering has been updated for 2023 in Europe. The XSR125 receives three new funky colour options as part of the model year update, which significantly improves its visual appeal.

Each of the three paint schemes is bright and youthful, with simple graphics on the fuel tank and side panels. The most elegant of these is the Yamaha Blue colour, which comes with gold alloy wheels. The Impact Yellow and Heritage White trims, on the other hand, have blacked-out wheels that match the rest of the bike. Interestingly, the latter is reminiscent of vintage Yamaha motorcycles, with its iconic white and red colour scheme.

The mechanical components of the Yamaha XSR125 remain unchanged from the previous model. The bike’s engine is a 125cc liquid-cooled unit that produces 14.8bhp at 10,000rpm and 11.5Nm at 8000rpm. It’s worth noting that this is the same motor that powers the MT125 and R125. It has a diamond-shaped frame and 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by upside-down forks and a mono-shock. Meanwhile, braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.
