Timeline for the release of the Yamaha R3 and expected pricing

Let’s get right to the point: the Yamaha R3’s expected pricing in India. To put things in perspective, before it was discontinued in 2019, the motorcycle was priced at Rs 3.51 lakh ex-showroom. With the updates the motorcycle has received in international markets over the years, we can also expect a price increase. As a result, a price of around Rs 4 lakh would be ideal. Having said that, Yamaha is expected to launch the 2023 R3 in India during the festive season in October-November, with bookings beginning in July.

The motorcycle has a full fairing with split headlamps and an air intake in between. Then there’s the split seat configuration with a sharp tail section.
