What new features will be available on 2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650?

The middleweight café-racer-style motorcycle now has an LED headlight instead of the previous version’s halogen unit, according to Royal Enfield. The switchgear has also been updated with Super Meteor 650-style switches, the seat design has been updated for greater comfort, and the Continental GT 650 now has a USB charging port. Meanwhile, the previous model’s features list includes a halogen-style taillight, twin-pod instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS.

Is the 2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 getting any cosmetic updates?

While the styling has remained unchanged, Royal Enfield has updated the colour palette for the 2023 Continental GT 650. The new blacked-out versions – Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey – will be available alongside the Mr Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green, and Rocker Red paint themes. The engine and exhaust parts of the newly added blacked-out variants are blacked out. These also come standard with cast alloy wheels. The rest of the models, however, keep the 18-inch wire-spoke wheels. Meanwhile, the round headlight, twin-pod instrument cluster, clip-on-style handlebar, rear cowl, and twin-sided exhaust canisters remain as styling cues.

What hasn’t changed on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 for 2023?

The 647.95cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine from the 2023 model continues to deliver a maximum output of 46.8bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 52.3Nm at 5,150rpm. The hardware remains the same as the previous model, with a steel tubular double-cradle frame, telescopic front forks, preload-adjustable twin rear springs, a single 320mm disc at the front and a single 240mm rotor at the back.
