The next Bajaj CNG motorcycle has been sighted during testing. This test mule appears similar to the one we saw a few months ago, and its release date is set for June of this year.
Based on its design, this will be a purebred commuter product with a simple and minimalist structure. The bodywork in this photograph is hidden, but we believe the CNG tank will be situated beneath the tank and seat. Furthermore, this product will target to cities that rely heavily on and have easy access to CNG. Overall, the new Bajaj CNG bike would be affordable and practical.
The engine details are currently unknown. According to this spy photo, the bike will have traditional telescopic front forks and most likely a mono-shock. The braking system could include a front disc and rear drum arrangement. These appear to be mounted on 17-inch wheels outfitted with road-biased tyres. Then there’s the single-piece seat, which makes better use of the space than a divided unit. It also features a grab rail, bulb turn indicators, handguards, and engine crash protectors.
The production bike will make its appearance in just a few months. Furthermore, this will be the brand’s first product to feature CNG. In a similar development, Bajaj trademarked three additional names. So, perhaps one of them could be utilised for the CNG motorcycle. Currently, the Bajaj Platina and CT ranges have been driving sales in the rural sector for the brand.
