A new version of Hero MotoCorp’s off-road motorcycle, the Xpulse 200 4V, has been formally hinted at. Three ride modes—road, off-road, and rally—are displayed on the Xpulse’s instrument console on its right side in the teaser video. However, the story’s conclusion could alter.
We anticipate the so-called “ride modes,” which the bike manufacturer has hinted at, will be updated for Xpulse’s ABS system. It is probably going to have dual-channel ABS, which would provide the rider with a number of settings to choose from. Therefore, the rally option would allow the bike to switch off both channels for improved control while off-roading, while the off-road mode ABS might deactivate only the rear ABS.
Riders may quickly set the ABS according to the riding terrain with the help of these three ABS modes and make the most of the Xpulse’s potential. Aside from that, the bike has enough power for beginners, so adding ride modes to change the engine output may be excessive. We anticipate that Hero will retain the same look and functions, but that the switch cubes used to navigate the riding mode menu will be modified. The 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor with 18.8bhp and 17.35Nm torque is also expected to remain unchanged. It would be linked to a five-speed gearbox.
Hero currently sells the Xpulse 200 4V for Rs. 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, with the latest upgrade, the asking price may be raised by a few thousand rupees.
