Tata Motors is continuing to test the Safari facelift in the nation ahead of a possible debut early next year. New spy images reveal the interior of the upgraded SUV, which will compete with the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and Mahindra XUV700.
Interior and features of the 2024 Tata Safari
The interior of the facelifted Tata Safari is carefully hidden, as seen in these spy photos. What is visible is a new four-spoke steering wheel with a screen in the centre, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system hidden behind the camo on top of the centre console, new controls for the AC vents, a redesigned centre console, a rotary dial to change drive modes, a new gear lever, and cup holders. Paddle shifters behind the steering wheel could also be available.
Safari’s external design has been updated
The 2018 Safari will have a radically modified fascia, including a new grille, vertically stacked headlamps, and a remodelled air dam and front bumper. Previous spy pictures revealed a new set of alloy wheels as well as a revised bonnet.
Engine and specifications for the Safari facelift
The same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual and automated transmissions is most likely going to power the 2024 Tata Safari. Additionally, it is anticipated that the motor’s existing 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque would not alter.
