The future Royal Enfield Classic 650 test bikes, based on the Classic 350, have been spotted together. New spy images of both bikes give further information, and here’s what we know thus far.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 will have an old-school design with a round LED headlight, split seat, and bulb turn indicators. Meanwhile, the Bobber pictured above has a two-piece seat and is inspired by the Classic 350. Because of the Bobber configuration, even the handlebar appears to be a little taller. While it includes a pannier on the right side, we anticipate Royal Enfield will only sell it as an accessory.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 will be powered by the brand’s current 650cc engine. It has a 648cc oil-cooled twin-cylinder engine that produces 47bhp and 52Nm. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. It is used by Royal Enfield on the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650. Meanwhile, the Bobber would continue to employ the present J-series engine.

Aside from LED lighting, we anticipate that both bikes will have ABS and a semi-digital instrument console. The test bikes will have traditional telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks, as well as a front and rear disc brake system with multi-channel ABS. While both models will have spoked wheels, we anticipate that the manufacturer will offer alloys as an option in its accessories catalogue.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is slated to arrive in India in early 2025, with an ex-showroom price of roughly Rs. 3.2 lakh. Meanwhile, the Bobber is slated to be released at the end of this year and will cost more than the top-spec variant of the Classic 350.
