QJ Motor has unveiled the PV maxi-scooter, its latest electric two-wheeler offering. The QJ Motor e-scooter was unveil at the EICMA 2022, and here’s what it has to offer.

The QJ Motor PV is dressed appropriately for a maxi-scooter. It has a central spine, a single-piece seat that is wide, a wide handlebar, and a tall transparent visor in front. The PV gets a split and quite aggressive LED headlight, as well as cornering lights integrated into the front side panels.

A 10kW (peak power) motor coupled with lithium-ion battery power the PV electric scooter. The battery capacity has yet to be reveal, but QJ claims that the PV can travel 150 kilometres on a single charge and has a top speed of 130 kilometres per hour. And the charging time for an 80% charge is five and a half hours. On the feature front, it has LED lighting, a fully digital instrument console, ABS, and an adjustable visor.

The PV e-scooter is equipp with telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks, as well as dual front and a single rear disc with ABS. The setup is mount on alloy wheels with Pirelli Angel tyres.

While QJ Motor has confirmed its presence in India, the chances of the PV electric scooter being introduc here anytime soon are slim. If you want an EV, there are several options, including the Ola S1 range, the Ather 450, the Bajaj Chetak, and others. Meanwhile, the only maxi-scooters on the market in India are petrol models: the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Keeway Vieste 300.
