Ola Electric has expanded its product lineup with the release of its most affordable model, the S1 Air. In the Indian market, this new version of the S1 series is available in five different colours. Jet Black, Coral Glam, Liquid Silver, Porcelain White, and Neo Mint are among the colours available. While the colour scheme is similar to that of the S1, the Air variant has a different wheel design, a single-piece pillion grabrail rather than the two-piece unit found on the S1 and S1 Pro, and a black finish to the lower part of the rear panel.

The hardware and specifications are also reduc, with the S1 Air employing a 2.5kWh battery pack with an IDC range of 101km. The Air version is powered by a 4.5kW hub-mounted motor that claims to accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 90kmph. The S1 Air and S1 have three ride modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, but neither has the Hyper mode, which is only available on the Pro model.

The new S1 Air model is distinguish from the existing S1 and S1 Pro models by its braking and suspension setup. The S1 Air variant’s anchoring system consists of drum units on both wheels. Traditional telescopic front forks and twin springs at the rear handle shock absorption.

All of these changes have enabled Ola Electric to offer this e-scooter at a competitive price of Rs 79,999. In comparison, the S1 and S1 Pro cost Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,39,999, respectively.
