The official announcement of the entry of the Italian two-wheeler brand MBP into India is planned for the 2023 Auto Expo. Though that won’t happen for a few days, the business recently launched a few models for the UK market, among them the T1002V adventure tourer.
The T1002V has an intimidating appearance because of its tall, upright stance and menacing-looking front fascia. It has a tall windscreen on top, a beak-shaped fender underneath, and a dual-LED headlamp that resembles a bug’s eyes. The hefty, angular fairing surrounding the fuel tank area adds a lot of mass, while the streamlined tail gets a sizable baggage rack.

The MBP T1002V is well-equipped, boasting a sizable 21-liter fuel tank, a KYB suspension system, and J.Jaun brakes. MBP has included a 19-17-inch spoke wheel combination with block-pattern tyres to enable it navigate different terrains well. With a weight of 235kg, it’s not particularly heavy given its displacement. In terms of the powertrain, it has a 997cc V-twin engine that produces 95 horsepower at 7,600 rpm and 102 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
The T1002V and its cruiser brother, the C1002V, are planned to be introduced in the UK by MBP in the first quarter of 2023. It will compete with vehicles like the Triumph Tiger 900 and BMW F850 GS, among others. The M502N naked street bike will be its first item for the Indian market.
