We spent a whole day riding the KTM’s most cheap 390 Adventure model about a week ago. The ‘X’ is the entry-level model in the brand’s large-size ADV series, and here’s what we think of it. The 390 Adventure X is the same as its brothers. It has the same LED headlight with a glass windscreen, a massive and muscular fuel tank, and a split seat configuration. The wide handlebar and handlebar guards are identical to those found on the other 390 ADVs.

The features of the 390 Adventure X are one of its distinguishing characteristics. To save money, KTM equipped it with an LCD panel rather than a TFT, and the bike also lacks cornering ABS, traction control, and a quick-shifter. However, we never had the need to use any of the components mentioned above during our whole time with the 390 ADV X. Aside from the use case, the 390 Adventure X costs about Rs. 60,000 due to a narrower feature list. This increases the likelihood of choosing the base model over others.

It has WP USD front forks and a mono-shock at the back. Even the front 320mm single disc and rear 230mm single rotor have been carried over to the X model. But should you shell out Rs. 2.80 lacks for the KTM 390 Adventure X? To find out more, read our complete review.
