KTM India has released a low-cost version of the 390 Adventure. It’s called the 390 Adventure X, and it looks exactly like the standard model. However, the two differ in a few ways, therefore we’ve gone over each in depth.
KTM 390 Adventure X
The X trim is the less expensive of the two available variants. It is priced at Rs. 2.80 lacks (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is around Rs. 57,000 cheaper than the standard model. The KTM 390 Adventure X is powered by a 373.27cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm at 7,000rpm. It’s mated to a six-speed transmission and has a slip-and-assist clutch.
The engine is housed in a trellis frame supported by WP USD front forks and a rear mono-shock. Meanwhile, the braking system is supplied by ByBre and consists of a single front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It is equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in block-patterned rubber.
The 390 Adventure X comes with LED lighting, switchable ABS, and an LCD instrument console with readouts such as the speedometer, trip metre, odometer, fuel level, and gear position indication. The 390 ADV X will be available in two colour schemes: Galactic Blue and Dark Galvano Black.
KTM 390 Adventure
The standard model, the 390 Adventure, is priced at Rs. 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It has the same engine, hardware, and appearance as the X variant. The features list, on the other hand, distinguishes this trim and justifies the increased asking price. So you get the same LED lighting and switchable ABS, but you also get a TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity for your smartphone. It also has technological aids such as a bi-directional quick-shifter, cornering ABS, traction control, and ride-by-wire.
