HOP Electric has begun shipping its high-speed e-motorcycle, the HOP OXO. From its first batch of 2,500 units, the electric vehicle manufacturer has begun distributing the electric motorcycle in Jaipur. According to the company’s press release, the electric motorcycle has received over 10,000 bookings and more than 50,000 inquiries within two months of its launch.
Speaking about the company’s delivery plans, Rajneesh Singh, Chief Marketing Officer at HOP Electric, stated that, in addition to Jaipur, deliveries will begin in other states soon. Among these are Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal.
The two-wheeler manufacturer stated in a press release that the first batch’s deliveries are behind schedule due to changes in the guidelines of the Ministry of Heavy Industries’ FAME II scheme and the introduction of new tests and standards.
