There’s significant news out of Japan. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki have joined together to develop hydrogen-powered technology and engines.
This new collaboration has secured government backing to establish a research organisation called HySE (Hydrogen small mobility & engine technology). These Japanese companies say that concentrating on one energy source, solar, is a bad idea. Electric vehicles have gained popularity around the world, but HySE members believe that there must be an alternative, and hydrogen is the answer.
Each team member has been assigned a single task. Suzuki will investigate the functionality, performance, and dependability of hydrogen-powered engines, while Honda will investigate model-based development. Yamaha, on the other hand, plans to develop hydrogen refuelling systems and tanks. In addition, Kawasaki will work on the refuelling system and tanks, as well as install the fuel tank and injectors. Toyota will also contribute to this association by doing extensive research and testing, as well as building large hydrogen-powered automotive power units.
This advancement gives us hope that we can rely on solar for green energy. Electric vehicles, like hydrogen, have restrictions. But only time will tell if hydrogen-powered automobiles have a future.
