Honda has updated its commuter motorcycle lineup with the release of the OBD2-compliant Livo 2023. The motorcycle is offered in drum and disc varieties, with pricing starting at Rs. 78,500 and going up to Rs. 82,500 (both prices are ex-showroom). It will come in three colours: Athletic Blue Metallic, Matte Crust Metallic, and Black.
The Honda Livo retains the same 109.51cc air-cooled engine with fuel injection and an ACG starting motor for a quiet engine start. The commuter model continues to provide nearly equal power and torque output as the previous generation, with 8.67bhp and 9.30Nm, respectively. A four-speed gearbox handles gearbox responsibilities. The hardware kit has also been kept the same, with 18-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, dual springs, and a drum brake on both ends. A higher-spec front disc brake version is also available.
The Honda Livo‘s feature set includes several noteworthy characteristics for its class. There is an integrated engine start/stop switch, a DC headlamp, a combined braking system, tubeless tyres, and five-step rear suspension preload adjustability. While the motorcycle’s overall bodywork remains identical, Honda has revised the graphics on the fuel tank and headlamp cowl.
The Honda Livo comes with an impressive 10-year warranty plan that includes three years of standard coverage & seven years of optional extended coverage. It competes with the TVS Sport and the Hero Passion Xtec.
