Hero has modified the latest model’s headlight unit and painted it in a variety of new colours. These are dual-tone possibilities, and the Xtreme 160R 4V offers a split seat configuration in addition to the single-piece seat. Aside from that, the new model has preserved its crisp and young appearance and overall demeanour. The thick pillion seat, in particular, adds to the perceived mass.
What adjustments has Hero made to the engine of the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V?
Hero has revised the Xtreme 160R for 2023 with the four-valve treatment, as with the other versions. As a result, it now has a single-cylinder 163cc oil-cooled four-valve engine producing 16.6bhp and 14.4Nm. The bike now produces 1.5bhp more than previously thanks to the improved configuration. It is coupled to a five-speed gearbox.
What new features does the Xtreme 160R 4V have?
Aside from LED lighting, the Xtreme 160R has a fully digital console with all of the necessary readouts such as a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip metre, fuel level reading, and time. However, the bike also includes a smartphone connection through Bluetooth, allowing the console to receive SMS and call notifications.
Is Hero making any hardware upgrades for the Xtreme 160R 4V?
The new golden USD front forks are one of the significant and commanding modifications for the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, but exclusively for the Pro variant. Nonetheless, the rear mono-shock has been kept, as has the front disc and rear drum braking configuration. The new model, like the two-valve model, has a dual-disc variation. The Xtreme is outfitted with alloy wheels and road-biased tyres.
What is the price of the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V?
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V will be available in three different configurations: basic, Connected, and Pro. The standard model costs Rs. 1,27,300, while the Connected and Pro trims cost Rs. 1,32,800 and Rs. 1,36,500, respectively (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with the TVS Apache RTR 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, and a few more names in the segment.
