Hero Motocorp unveiled the new Xtreme 125R at Hero World 2024. The sporty commuter costs Rs 95,000 for the IBS and Rs 99,500 for the ABS type. (Both prices are ex-showroom).

The Xtreme 125R‘s design stands out from most commuters on the market since it has a sporty feel. The front end receives a low-slung full-LED headlamp with a design identical to the Xtreme 200S unit. Even the fuel tank and back part are in good condition, and the split-seat layout completes the package. That being said, Hero offers the Xtreme 125R in three colours: blue with silver, black, and red with black.

The motorcycle is now powered with a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor producing 11.5bhp and 10.5Nm and paired to a five-speed gearbox. The Hero Xtreme 125R has 37mm telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock in the back, with a front disc and a drum or disc brake at the rear.

The Xtreme 125R has full LED lighting and an interesting-looking LCD panel. The brand offers the motorcycle with single-channel ABS and IBS, Hero’s equivalent of CBS. If you’re looking for alternatives to the Xtreme, the closest option is the TVS Raider 125, which costs roughly Rs 95,000 for the single-disc variant.
