Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse 200T 4V in India after much anticipation. The updated Hero commuter includes mechanical and cosmetic updates, as well as a minor price increase. Let’s take a closer look.
The Hero XPulse 200T now has a sportier appearance thanks to the new two-tone paint schemes. While the overall silhouette remains the same, the XPulse 200T 4V now has gaitered front forks, a small fly screen above the LED headlight, and a body colour-painted head casing. The rear tail rack has been replaced by a tubular grab rail, while the alloy design, scooped seat, and side panels remain.

The most significant change is a slightly more powerful 200cc single-cylinder oil-cooled motor. It now has a 4-valve engine instead of a 2-valve engine and produces 18.83 bhp and 17.3 Nm, up from 17.83 bhp and 16.15 Nm previously. The five-speed transmission remains unchanged.
The XPulse 200T 4V has an LED headlight, an LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity for call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation, a USB charging port, and a side stand sensor, among other things. Its telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, and single front and rear disc brake setup, as well as the alloy wheels, have been carried over.
The Hero XPulse 200T 4V is priced at Rs 1,25,726. (ex-showroom Mumbai). This adds Rs 1,036 to the price of the 2V model. Hero will offer three paint schemes for the bike: Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow, and Matt Shield Gold.
