The Xoom, Hero MotoCorp’s newest 110cc scooter, has been introduced to the Indian market. LX, VX, and ZX are the three variations that are offered. The LX has an asking price of Rs 68,599, while the VX and ZX have prices of Rs 71,799 and Rs 76,699, respectively. (All prices are ex-showroom and are from Delhi.)
In comparison to the brand’s scooter lineup, the Hero Xoom has a more sporty appearance. It has LED taillights with bulb indications and headlights. The scooter looks fresh and young thanks to the clean bodywork throughout. Hero has given the Xoom a 110.9cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8.05bhp and 8.70Nm, placing it below the Maestro line.
All of the variations have LED lighting as a feature. The LX model has a digital analogue configuration, whilst the ZX and VX variants include LCDs with Bluetooth connectivity. All models also come with cornering lights, a USB charger, and other features. The braking system consists of a front disc and rear drum combination, and it is supported by telescopic front forks and a single rear spring. The latter is shod with 90/90 front and 90/80 rear tyres (100/90 for the VX and ZX). The former is shod with 12-inch alloy wheels. The Xoom weighs 109 kilogrammes and has a 5.2-litre fuel tank.
