Hero MotoCorp has scheduled the introduction of the new Karizma XMR 210 for August 29. Another spy shot has revealed fresh facts about Hero’s future sports tourer.
The Karizma XMR 210 will have a completely digital instrument panel. And, given that Hero currently has Bluetooth connectivity modules on its other motorcycles, we anticipate that the new Karizma XMR 210 will as well. In addition, the unit would include an odometer, speedometer, tachometer, trip metre readout, gear position indicator, and other features. The new Karizma will be powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 25bhp and 30Nm. It will be mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The engine will be housed on a trellis frame, which will be supported by telescopic front forks and a mono-shock. It has a front and rear disc brake system with dual-channel ABS. Aside from that, the new Karizma will have clip-on handlebars, although the riding stance will be less committed than on supersport motorcycles.
The next Hero Karizma will be designed aggressively, with a sharp front end and cuts and wrinkles all over. It has a two-piece seat and a set of grabrails in the back. The test mule has made several appearances, and a photograph of the bike has also been leaked from a dealer event.
