Hero Karizma XMR 210 was recently leaked before of its official launch in India during a dealer presentation. The Karizma is a legendary nameplate in the Indian market, and the new XMR 210 hopes to improve on it. While we wait for the Hero Karizma XMR 210 to be officially launched in the country, here’s all you need to know about it.

Design

Hero Karizma XMR 210 has an aggressive and sporty appearance. The bike will include sleek LED headlamps, a multilayer fairing, and a short upswept exhaust. To improve its visual attractiveness, the Karizma XMR will have a raised tail portion and split seats. The bike will also have multispoke machined alloy wheels.

Engine Specifications

The new Hero Karizma XMR 210 will be powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, as we revealed in our exclusive report. The highest power of this fuel-injected motor is projected to be 24bhp, with a peak torque of roughly 30Nm. The engine will most likely be paired with a six-speed transmission.

Features

Although the Karizma XMR 210’s equipment list is unknown, we expect it to include features such as LED headlamps, a fully digital instrument cluster, Smartphone connectivity through Bluetooth, and more. Dual-channel ABS is expected to be part of the safety net.

Brakes and Suspension

According to spy shots, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 will have conventional telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear. Although the exact specifications of the tyres are unclear, we anticipate that they will be tubeless and mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of stopping power, the motorcycle will have disc brakes on both ends.

Pricing, Competitors, and Release Date

According to our sources, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 would cost around Rs. 2 lahks (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Yamaha R15 V4, the KTM RC200, and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Given that the Karizma XMR 210 was recently shown to Hero’s dealer partners, the official release date is expected to be sooner than planned. We anticipate that it will be released in India over the festival season in October or November 2023.
