Harley-Davidson has begun delivering its most cheap motorcycle, the X440, to dealerships in India. This motorbike comes in three colours: Denim, Vivid, and S. The Denim model is the most cheap on the list, and it comes with wire-spoke wheels. The Vivid trim level adds alloy wheels and dual-tone paint.
Furthermore, the top-of-the-line S model includes premium amenities like diamond-cut alloy wheels, a full suite of connectivity options via the Harley-Davidson app, and 3D branding. The top model now has turn-by-turn navigation thanks to the Bluetooth module.
While the feature set varies between models, common visual features include a round headlight with integrated Harley-Davidson branding, a single-pod instrument cluster, a flat handlebar, a side-slung exhaust, machined alloy wheels, and retro-style round indicators. Mechanical characteristics are also the same across all models. Thus, the new Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc, single-cylinder, oil and air-cooled engine with a two-valve configuration that produces 27bhp at 6,000rpm and 38Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm.
The frame of the motorcycle is made of trellis. After that, 43mm upside-down front forks and gas-charged, preload-adjustable twin rear shocks handle the shock absorption duties. The braking system incorporates single-disc brakes on each wheel, a dual-channel ABS, and a side-stand engine cut-off mechanism.
