It appears that Bajaj Auto is getting ready to introduce the Avenger 220 Street, one of its forthcoming cruiser offerings. According to our sources, the bike would be arriving at dealerships very soon, and unofficial bookings have already started with a nominal payment of Rs. 2,000.

The same engine that powers the Cruise version will power the Avenger 220 Street. It, therefore, receives a 220cc single-cylinder engine with 18.76bhp and 17.55Nm of torque. Linked to the engine is a five-speed gearbox. Even the braking system, dual rear shocks, and telescopic front forks are anticipated to be comparable to the Cruise model.

The two trimmings, however, have different designs. In contrast to the Cruiser, which has a more cluttered and opulent silhouette thanks to its big front windscreen, chrome accents, exhaust, padded backrest, and other features. In addition, Bajaj could replace the spoked wheels on the 220 Street’s current model with alloy ones.

For the next Bajaj 220 Street, features like a fully digital console with readouts for the fuel level and temperature in addition to the speedometer, odometer, trip metre and more are anticipated. The Avenger 220 Cruise now costs Rs. 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the 22-0 Street is anticipated to cost a comparable amount.
