Bajaj Auto unveiled the new 2024 edition of the Pulsar N250 recently. In addition to the technical changes, the Chakan-based bike company released three new bike colours.
The swankiest of the lot is the Glossy Racing Red trim, which has red as its primary colour and is accented with white and grey streaks from the headlamps to the tail area. The edgy ‘250’ number on the petrol tank heightens the visual intensity. The Pearl Metallic White variation is a slightly more modest choice, with blue and grey graphics accenting the white bodywork. Meanwhile, the most modest and covert choice is Brooklyn Black, which features a blacked-out theme throughout and is accented with red and grey decals.
Mechanical improvements include the replacement of conventional telescopic front forks with Endurance-sourced USDs, as well as a slightly wider rear tyre. Furthermore, the list of features has expanded and become more appealing with the addition of a Bluetooth-enabled completely digital console, traction control, and three ABS modes (rain, road, and off-road). The engine remains the same smooth and powerful 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled unit that generates 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm of peak torque. It is still linked with a five-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 is priced at Rs. 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom), almost identical to the previous edition. It competes against the Suzuki Gixxer 250, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and the Honda Hornet 2.0.
