Recently, TVS Motor Company introduced a new, more cost-effective edition of its 125cc commuter motorcycle, the Raider, in India. Therefore, we’ve broken down everything you need to know about this new version into four main elements in this article.
TVS Raider Styling for 2023
When it comes to styling, the new TVS Raider variant is identical to the others. It carries on with a fresh, contemporary look that complements TVS’s other models. The robotic LED headlamp design and the powerful fuel tank are both the same. The single-seat option is only available in String Red, unlike the other choices. But the new seat is much more of a departure. The new version has a single-piece seat as standard, unlike the older models, which have split seats that give the Raider more sportiness.
TVS Raider Engine 2023
A 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled motor with three valves drives the whole TVS Raider 125 line. This engine produces 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm when connected to a five-speed gearbox. We have tested the motorbike and can attest to its smooth and vibration-free nature.
Hardware TVS Raider 2023
Telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock serve as the TVS Raider’s suspension system. It has 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless front and back tyres in the 80/100 and 100/90 sections, respectively.
TVS Raider Features for 2023
The TVS Raider’s Split-seat version has many of the same features as the other models. It
comes standard with a full-LED headlamp, LED DRLs, LED tail light, and CBS. Now, the Split Seat variant just receives a reverse LCD cluster with basic information like speedometer, odometer, trip metre, fuel-level indication, tachometer and gear position indicator, as opposed to the SmartXonnect version which includes Bluetooth connectivity. A USB charging outlet and a storage compartment under the seat are also included as standard equipment.
Price of a 2023 TVS Raider
The Raider single-seat variant from TVS is the most cost-effective model at Rs 93,719 ex-showroom. It is priced $1,000 cheaper than the Split-seat model and about 7,000 rupees less than the top-of-the-line SmartXonnect variation.
