With the launch of the 2023 Pulsar NS200, Bajaj Auto has updated its Indian portfolio, and we recently had the opportunity to test ride the latest iteration of the motorbike for a first ride review. The Pulsar NS200 has received updated hardware and new features for 2023, and you can read all about it in the motorcycle’s detailed first-ride review. Here are the best photos from the first ride review of the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
The styling has not changed significantly, and the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 appears to be very similar to previous iterations of the motorbike.
A single-pod headlight with twin DRLs, matching graphics for the headlight cowl, a fibre fuel tank with a 3D logo and shrouds that give the unit a muscular look, split-style seats, a two-piece pillion grabrail, an underbelly exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels with the same pattern as the Pulsar N250 round out the design.
While the styling remains unchanged, the 2023 model gains upside-down front forks, which give the motorcycle a more muscular appearance.
The feature set is also similar to that of its predecessors, with the 2023 Pulsar NS200 employing a semi-digital console that includes an analogue tachometer and a compact digital display.
However, the 2023 model’s console now displays real-time fuel economy and distance to empty figures. Two trip metres, an odometer, a fuel gauge, and a gear position indicator are also available on the digital display.
The mechanical specifications remain unchanged, with the 2023 Pulsar NS200 using the same 199cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 24.1bhp at 9,750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8,000rpm.
To handle suspension duties, the hardware includes upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock.
The braking system includes disc brakes on both wheels, and the safety net now includes a dual-channel ABS system rather than the previous version’s single-channel unit.
The Pulsar NS200 2023 is priced at Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In the Indian market, it competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Hero Xpulse 200T 4V.
